Garush Melkonyan
Synopsis
The Transcaucasian Tales is a speculative fiction inspired by the Transcaucasian Democratic Federative Republic (1918), the only period in modern history when Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia were united—albeit for just five weeks. The Transcaucasian Tales immerses us in a space where people belonging to sexual and gender minorities can exist without discrimination as a chosen community in the South Caucasus, outside the capitalist framework.
